Walk to restaurants (Roberto’s, Rafter’s) and shopping and take the red line bus to Mammoth Mountain.  Built in 1969, there are 148 units with 6 floorplans to choose from ranging from approximately 700 sq. ft. to 1400 sq. ft. Amenities include a pool, spa, sauna, and game room.

If you look at a downstairs end unit, be sure to have someone walk up the exterior stairs to test out the noise.

The Timber Ridge condominiums are located at 671 John Muir Rd. with an amazing ski-in-ski-out location. There are 54 total units with several floor plan options. Amenities include a pool, spa, sauna, rec room, and laundry facilities. Each unit comes with a garage (some attached and some detached).

This is the highest condo complex in Mammoth in terms of elevation!  Perfect for building up your red blood cell count if you are in to endurance sports!  But the location is not for the faint of hear…you probably should own a good 4-wheel drive vehicle to make it up John Muir Rd during storms.  And the older firefighters in town refer to Timberridge as “Cinder Ridge” in reference to the 1992 Rainbow Fire that threatened to come over Mammoth Pass and burn down structures (Timber Ridge being one of the first in the line of fire).

HOA dues are in the low $600/mo range as of 2017.  And many of the units have chosen “101 Great Escapes” as their rental company of choice.
